I am after comments on the North ram. Looking at purchasing an F11 but have no experience of them and am unable to test. My latest sails are KA Koncepts so anyone who can compare the two I would like to hear your comments.
Thanks |

Yes I did, but from what I can see they do not have a forum. I realise it is the starboard site but we do use a variety of sail brands and thought might be able to get a fairly balanced view.

Their forum is on the Fanatic website (the parent company). There are already a few threads on the RAM F11. Many of us are using North race sails from what I've seen. Surely other posters can help.

The Ram has always been great for "easy to handle" speed c/w the full on Warp. But it only down side was the way it delivered it low-end power. The North team riders will you that the F12 Ram has addressed this by having a deeper profile to make it less technical to tap into its power. The Ram still has its excellent top end speed/stability. I think this is all correct info
![]() The Koncept is also a great sail, a couple of our local guys are on Koncepts and like the Rams, they are top sails. If you do switch to the Rams, it is important to also get North masts.

Thanks Mark for the information.
I am looking at an 8.5 RAM for light wind days, so it is interesting to read about the low end of the sail as this is what I am after. It would be good to try one to see how they perform but not possible for a number of reasons. |
