I also purchased a brand new F161 and are having the same issues. As you insert the screws they go in at an angle... So far, I have managed OK to secure the fin, but are not too happy about the way they go in. Ocassionally, it takes a while to line the srews properly. I believe Starboard should provide a solution and prove that they are conscious about the quality of their products...

... haha .. c'mon starboard. this is a sign of a very poor quality product.

HUH .. NOW THIS COMMENT IS REALLY WEIRD
