The wood deck on my Acid is breaking down. The veneer is splitting and discoloration is apparant except where the Starboard logo covers it. It appears that the Acrylic clear coat dries or splits then the wood laminate starts to turn dark, greyish charcoal .
I'm looking at removing the deck anti-skid , apply a sealer then re-deck, any other options that may be effective ? What products has anyone tried ? Especially a sealer, that would react to re-deck in a kind manner.

Merryfrankster, Thanks your board sounds exactly like mine.
Did you apply the Smiths CPES product, and how did it turn out ? Windy Regards
