My iSonic 150 will arive in Februari 2008. The stock fin should be very good (Drake deboicet 56cm R13. The better/ faster fin is the Deboicet R13 soft I heard.

Hi Can,
I'm not completely sure yet but I think I go for the RAMF8 9.9. I think it will be more stable and the low-end will be the same as the RSS.
Are you also considering buying one of those ?

I bought 2 RAM F8's 6.3 and 7.3 but they will arrive in February. They are in shipping right now I guess. If you want close pictures of RAM I can send you email.

What boom and mast are you planning to buy ?

I allready have an X9 boom. And I have to change masts when I go to RSS. I heard the low-end of the RSS is better, especially in the bigger sizes they made low-end better.

Have you considered the RS Racing from NP. Not that more expensive especially when coupled with the X6 mast and has more range than the RSS. People who have the latest RSR say there is no going back.

Yes, I have considered that. Last year I used the RS6 and I broke 3 masts in it (X9 ultra). So, I don't believe in X9 anymore in the big sizes (4.90m and up).
And I heard that the RSS 2007 was as fast as the RS6 so I thougt why taking that risk ? I would go for the RSS 10.0 2008. The X6 5.20 gives 100% carbon. For the smaller sizes I keep my Warps 2007 (7.8 and 6.8)with the platinum masts.

Just a quick question. Did you had any problems with the Platinum masts? What conditions do you surf,where?
