It is clear they (Kev and PM/BS) had irreconcilable differences, likely money (business) related not how heavy the sails were getting.

He will go with the best choice that gives him a chance to win AND shows him the money.

Let the guy get his offers, and make his best decision.

A professional windsurfer must look at the $$ side to so the choice would also be influenced by that aspect.. "Also" = 80/90 %
It's normal..
I don't think it's a matter of sail weight or else..
