isonic and sx are both made for slalom, s-type was designed for cross-x so good speed but not as much as the potential speed of an isonic. But then again, the best comment i heard on that topic was that the board never goes faster then it's rider .

well, simply looking at results of the past year of slalom events it's hard to deny that the isonis is a supermachine, however F2 ended pretty high aswell. What r u sailing now? If you're already sailing SB, stick with it, switching between brands usually also means a different sailingstyle, i notice it a lot when i switch between my mistral and my starboard. Even though different volume and so on, it's still a different ride on a different brand because the testers are different and they have different feel for a board. on the other hand, if you're like me and you sail basicly anything that fits the sailrange then you just have to check what you like best in a board next to it's speed (cuz this years speedrecord on a production board was broken by F2, but the speedchampionship was won on an isonic ...). Compare sizes, width, sailrange, price, finbox (if necessary, if you already like me own like 20 different finboxes you don't really care) and test results if you can find any

hope this helps

cheers
