Kevin,
Im a tall 96kg planing jibe learning to jump higher and go faster Columbia Gorge guy....looking to replace my 94L wave board as my "middle board" for something faster, more direct, able to rip upwind better. Currently looking at the isonic 96-101 or futura 93-101. I know you like the 101 isonic but would you make that choice at the hatchery or maryhill when its not windy enough for your small stick and you still want to go fast over chop/disorganized swell and jump big? If it matters I sail a 75L wave board (for sub 4.0-solid 5.0 winds) 94L wave board (for sketchy 5.0 to solid 6.3) 150L wide board (for sketchy 6.3 up to 9.6) thanks Chris |

I would go with the 101 Futura. From the sounds of it, for the hatch it is better choice. The I sonics are not really made for jumping, and the Futura's are fast, and can jump like a rocket!
