old/new/better? 2003 sonic 85

Favourite board ever speed & slalom is 2003 sonic 85.
Tried sonic 100 & every fanatic board ever since.
Not close, I still have GPS PBs from my first attempts!!
85 was ace in chop & really suited a grunty/heavy style in both medium & strong wind!
Floated flat & balanced up to my knees/waist @100kg!
Do any of the modern isonics feel similar for a heavy weight - 85/76? (v wide in the tail?)
(I had some mega speeds in on shore winds with a 7.3 & 28 curtis fin!!!)
Really not sure S100 & more recent others compare - effort/success?
Any thoughts please.
