Hi velistapazzo,
For your weight I will choose this one : - iSonic 101 : SL4 36 & 40 - iSonic 122 : SL4 40 & 46 or R16 46 The SL6 is not in production yet. All the best |

Hi Remi,
what does it mean that for 85kg you recommend SL4 over SL2? As I read in this forum SL2 is more powerful so I thought better for heavy weights. What would you recommed in the same situation for 70kg rider? cholo |

Hi Cholo,
We have the same weight and I prefer the SL4 but also like the SL3 but in small size under 32. Over until 44cm the SL4, I glide beter with that one. But in any case the SL2 is a good fin just more powerfull and glide a bit less, this is a matter more concerning your style than your weight. All the best |

Hi Remi,
what do you mean when you say a fin has good glide, do you mean it is fast because it is not draggy, or do you mean it doesn't lift too much when overpowered, or both? And how would you describe "powerful" concerning a fin? |

And, please, since we are here: do you think that choosing SL2 vs. SL4 with a 2 cms. gap (shorter; meaning i. e. 34 SL2 vs. 36 SL4) would reduce the differences between the two models?

Hi Cholo,
It's just a question of power you put in your legs to go fast, the SL2 need a bit more than the SL4. Their is a lot of differents kind of fins on the market beacause some prefer power and other glider man, in this case the SL2 is more dedicace for people like power and SL4 glider man. SL1 > SL2 > SL4 > SL3 For my iSonic I do like this : iSonic 111 : SL4 iSonic 86 : SL3 All the best |
