Hi there.
Just bought a 2008 isonic 96 on an end of season oportunity, along with a Severne Code Red 7.7 As i can't afford having more than 1 board i chose the 96 and am trying to stretch its sail range as much as i can. My doubt now is which fin to use with this sail. I have the oportunity to buy a 2nd hand Deboichet SL2 38cm. Is it the correct size? My weight's 70 kgs, height 1.74m Thanks in advance 4 your atention |

Hi Guri,
I used to sail a Sonic95 and Maui Sails TR-2 7.6 in '06, so not perfectly aligned with your setup but nearly so. I used it with SL 34 and the fin was a bit (a bit!) on the small side. As the SL2 is a much powerful fin, I would not suggest you the 38 for that purpose: my guess is a 36 is the perfect fit. Oh but I see you are 70 kgs, so the setup really turns into a light wind machine at your weight. Well, then maybe the 38 would do for the lighter end and slower speeds. |

Hi Guri,
To use this size on this board you are at the maximum size on this board and for your weight I recommand you a SL2 36, 38 max. All the best |
