There's a lot of difference between 8 and 14 knots of wind.
I can begin to jump and do most fun on my Aero 127 in 14 knots (steady) with a 7.5, but won't be near having fun in less than this. I'm heavy at 97 kgs. I guess many light weight (below 75 kgs) freestyle sailors can have fun in 12-14 knots. 4 knots is not even formula planing.. Anyway the idea is amazing and I guess Starboard have a solution for having (real) fun in 4 knots within a few years. ;-) |

Necessary analogue AERO but for freestyle.
Purpose - as possible early jump on flat water. Volume beside 125 litres. Width 72 refer to. Two fins decide problem of the length and area of the fin. 7.5 -8.0 maximum sail. Windsurfing will have fun in light winds either as kitesurfing ! All Winds and Sun !! |
