Hi – word to the wise …

During my last session I took a crash, and checking my gear noticed the arm-band of the aquapak was hanging loose.

The Velcro was still tight, but the machine stitching holding the Velcro patch to the band was ¾ ripped away!

Have hand stitched the patch back – and reinforced the corners of the other machine-stitched areas (Velcro and “buckle”) with hand stitching & frequent knots.

Now – fingers crossed …

I have a caribina connected to my wetsuit zip pull which then hooks onto the aquapac for added security. Not so much as for loosing the GPS but I also have my car key in the aquapac which would mean a total nightmare if it was lost.
