Gotta say the Maui Sails site does list the Titan 9 at 5.6KG.
Personally I've got a V8 and that's pretty heavy too.

what about a NP V8 ? I sail a 7m and I very happy very it: great low end power and very stable in gust. how does it compare with the vapor ?
