Hi every1,
I know I'm trying my luck here but I hope to get some unbiased feedback from windsurfers who are not sponsored riders. Is there anyone who has the opportunity to ride the isonic 111 and Falcon 110? How do you feel about the boards in terms of ability to plane early, gybing and speed? |

I really can't decide between Isonic or the Falcon....
Is there anyone who is able to give some impartial advice? (A Starboard rider told me Isonic is the best. Fanatic dealer claims falcon is faster than isonic) |

Hi there, for a detailed and not sponsored opinion you can check the following post that was started by Ka43 and followed by CarlosD one of the best three slalom racers in Argentina.

A french magazine testers found that Falcon top speed is second to none in optimal conditions. However iSonic scored far better with regard to control when things get ugly.
Haven't sailed the Falcon myself. |

Have sailed a Fanatic Falcon 110, in my opinion way faster. Extreme loose ride with plenty of control.
The biggest difference is that with a good full-race sail like NP RS Racing the Fanatic performs really well. But with freerace sails or freeride sails it doesn't work that nice... The Isonic is more capable of taking freeracesails, it is still quite well balanced. However lots of bigger isonics of earlier years were sticky and in terms of speed not that fast... Cheers, Erik |

Willy, Screamer & Erik, Thanks for the feedbacks and link.
Erik, I don't understand how a freerace, freeride or fullrace sail can make a difference to how a board perform. Can you help by explaining a little? |
