Hi All,
I'm new to the forum. Not been sailing for 15 years, and want to get back into it. Weight at 92 Kg and 186 cm. I can get a second hand ISonic 125 2005 model. sail flat water and want to eventually get back into the sea when i get confident enough, or do i go for the sonic 111 ? Can anyone out there who has a sonic 125, let me know how she handles etc. please help. Thanks Greg Last edited by Stebz; 15th May 2009 at 06:06 AM. |

Hi,
The Sonic 125 was a nice board with a decent usable range, kinda felt more super fast freeride than full on slalom. Great with 7m to 9m and a couple of fins. Works well in open water (for a big board). I used to love my ols S125 with a 7.8 & 9m & 40/43cm fin.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the info. I have just arranged for the 2nd hand S 125. I hope i will not be disapointed, though i somehow dont think so - been researching on the net. i think it would be a huge change from my 1995 board and equipment. thanks again Greg |
