Hi Dan,
thanks for your help. I put the convert mph to knots. 4.7m/ MFC Free Wave 25cm - fin position all the way back/ 25+ mph ( 21kn) 4.0m/ MFC Free Wave 23cm - fin position all the way back/ 30+ mph (26kn) 4.0, 3.5m/ MFC K1 21cm - fin position middle/ 30-35+ mph (26-31kn) But, you donīt use the original fin 22cm Natural wave of K74? |

I've used my Acid74 with supplied 22 Drake - from 4.0 to 5.0 in high wind bump/jump. I usually like b/j fins more than wave fins, but in high wind conditions I've found Drake works just fine. Try it and compare with others (mfc, select fsw, etc) before buying a whole quiver of fins. |

But for more freeride type of sailing, you could complement with a stiffer fin for 5.0. In the MFC program, the K-One is the closest to the Drakes, but they are stiffer. I would say something around 23 or 24 would be a good complement for waves. If you want an even more freeridy feel than what a K-One will provide, try a freewave around 24 cm |
