Default severne 8m2? ncx or...

Im going to buy a sail 8m2 without cams for light wind use(Planing conditions. probably 10-18 knots). Board futura 122
My weight 90 kgs. Should I go for the NCX or the Gator..??
What is the difference between these sails?

Regards MOP

I had the same dilemma. They are basicly the same design but Gator is full x-ply so it can take more damage without breaking. NCX is a bit lighter and faster?! Bought a Gator since Im still catapulting a lot

Hi Mop

Olzcyk is correct that the NCX is a bit more responsive and a touch lighter feeling. The Gator will be a touch stronger from the X-ply and a little softer / more powerful feeling.

Both sails are very good for you excellent board choice (Futura 122). We used the same boards for the testing of those sails in Australia,, and they are a great combo.

Hi and thanks for your answer!
My key question is: which of these no cams sails have the best bottom end power?

Thanks again!
