I'm looking at buying a smaller board, something fairly quick yet still able to handle the chop and swell in 20-25+ knots. I have a Futura111 and love it in anything up to about 20-22 knots but then things start to get a bit out of control. I'd like to get either the smaller F93 or an iSonic in a similar size. But I am unsure on which would be better suited to the conditions I would be using it in. Which would handle the rougher conditions better? Which is more performance orientated for those conditions? Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.
My level would be the top end of intermediate to the bottom of advanced. ie (water starts, carve gybes, etc..) 80kg. Thanks. |

Hi RadiantX,
You like your futura 111, so go for the Futura 93, this board is very fast and more easy than iSonic in coppy water to waves. Hope this help All the best
