What would be the best (not so expensive as Kashy) light wind fin for SB 161.
My weight is 87kg. |

The best (and with a good price/performance ratio) allround fin for Formula 161 is Deboichet R13; since R13 is made with different stiffness and rakes, in my opinion (but have just a look at older posts in this Forum), the correct R13 models for this board are:

Hi Navas,
The best fin depends on the conditions your sailing. You would need a least 2 fins to get 100% out the board. The official line for the F161 is the R19 as the tail is a 80cm plus size. Im using an old C3 Bravo+ and it works really good.

Mark H is right: official fin for 161 was R19 but many riders have found it a little slow and have preferred other fins. IMHO R13 was (and is today) a good allroud fin and, important thing, it is possible to find it easily in second-hand market and at affordable prices. |
