The iSonic 131 or the Futura wood/carbon 141, for an advanced skilled windsurfer?
Or is there no difference in planing threshold between these two boards? Aloha, LD |

Hi sergio k,
Thank you for your reply! Remi if you're not too busy, is it possible for you to answer my question. Please keep in mind that I'm a very capable rider. I just want to plane as fast as possible but without formula gear. Should I maybe also consider the iSonic 150 with the Glide 8.5? All the best, LD |

the f2 2010 edition i have sailed.
85cm wide, think around 120litres, it has the advantage of being lighter than the i-sonic. i had a go with 7.8m pryde racing sail and the board was easily big enough to hold it. go for the lightest possible board to plane early. |

Hi LD,
What you mean by Formula gear? Because if it's a full slalom it will be better on the iSonic 131 than Glide in particularly in gust. The combination of the Futura 141 C3 Venom 50 and Glide 8,5 will better than the iSonic 131, Deboichet R16 48 and Glide 8,5. But you can do what you want anyway it's works but will not good as with the Futura. All the best

Hi Remi,
Thank you for your quick answer. I already have a 48 cm SL2 Deboichet fin. Is this fin OK for the combination: Futura w/c 141 with the Glide 8.5? Thanking you in advance, LD |

Hi LD,
Yes faster in straight line but the C3 Venom will be better in jibe. All the best
