Default wood ou wood carbone

bonjour à tous

je vais acheter une STARBOARD ATOM comme planche unique pour une utilisation freeride avec des voiles de 5 à 8 m dans des vents de 15 à 25 noeuds sur plan d eau plat à agité
poids 70kg 1M75 niveau waterstart straps et jibe
objectif plage d utilisation max et freeride "plaisir"
faut il préférer un modéle wood ou wood carbone ?
avantages et inconvénients des deux constructions pour ce type de flotteur ?

Bonjour Manuveto

La version W/C est un peu plus légère et surtout plus rigide ce qui les deux combines donneront une planche plus réactive sous les pieds mais plus fragile aux impacts comparativement au modèle en bois qui lui sera un peu plus lourd et plus souple.

Dans les deux cas le plaisir est la mais lis tu recherche a faire n'importe quel figure, chaque grammes compte ajoute a la Rigidite

merçi pour ta réponse rapide Rémi

tu me dis que le wood carbone est plus fragile aux impacts pourtant on lit souvent que le wood marque tres rapidement (contact avec cailloux sur la plage par exemple) et surtout que le moindre choc n est pas facile à réparer ?!
est ce que la rigidité du wood carbone rend le flotteur plus physique pour l utilisateur au niveau genoux et dos par exemple ?

Bonsoir Manuveto

Si tu compare à la construction Technora oui, mais en cas de pète il suffit d'utiliser de la résine époxy et le tour est joué

Le Wood Carbon rend la planche moins physique, c'est comme marché avec des chaussures très légère, par contre si tu as des problèmes de dos et genou la version wood absorbe plus les vibrations et donc serra préférable
