Bolt length - head inclusive or exclusive

Hi,

Does anyone know if the bolt head is included or excluded in the length of the fin bolt. For instance for an isonic 101 you need a M6X35 bolt. Does it mean that the total length of the bolt with head is 35 or do I need to add extra 5 for the head ?

M6 is the Head size and 35mm is the lenght of the thread.

nonopr has it right!
Nowhere I know of that will sell you a cap screw/bolt/machine screw where the length of the head is included in the length.
The heads are all to a standard, the thread and unthreaded portion of the length add up to the total length from the bottom of the head to the end of the screw threads.
