starboard top layer recoating.

I have 2 beginner starboards and they are a few years old. On both of them the top foam layer has decreased to a level that you can start to see fiberglass. My Question is:

Can a new top layer coating be re-applied or is it time to buy a new board?

You may be able to buy some EVA foam in the correct color (or a near match) and pull the old EVA foam off and glue some new back on in the most heavily worn areas.
This would be a real job to do "nicely".
Some of the professional board repair folks could do it but it might be quite expensive.
To the best of my knowledge Starboard does not offer complete new EVA deck kits.
Might be time for some new boards.
If it's only in small areas, you can for sure patch it.

I do live in a remote place where there are no wind surfing shops or accessories shops, I guess it's time to order new boards.
