It wasnt a catapult.... his mast broke just above boom, sail collapses hew falls in water board keeps going...
Catapult infers some type of rider error...There was none..simple equipment failure.. |

Starboard/Severne advice seems to be a Catapult.
http://www.star-board.com/2013/news_...d-cup-day-four "Dunkerbeck, on the other hand, endured a disastrous heat as he experienced a huge catapult, which resulted in a broken mast" But A² broke a X9 too. Luckier, just before the first heat. Last edited by Papounet; 4th October 2012 at 11:55 AM. |

Hi All,
Our Marketing service just copy the PWA Report who say that it was a catapult but it's clear not a catapult but just a broken mast in full speed ![]() The chance choose his side, Antoine broke also his mast but just 10m before the first hit. So chance will play a big part in this event and the World Tittle. All the best

hi all,
clear, its not a catapult. the mast broke just above the boom. that use to happen mainly when the boomhead is over tie on the mast. maybe bjorn's caddy sanches knows more about it. what is more important if alberto and ross are not in this lucky (or professional) position above and behind bjorn could happen a tragedy, if one of them hit bjorn with the board or fin. in this reaction time impossible to change direction or stop. fortunately did not happened... here comes the helmet question, what was obligated to use only in super x. gyurmo |

Masts/booms, are secutity parts.
But sails brands ( all, not only Severne ), dont integrate this évidence. What append if someone is injuried or "dies" after breakage... In the same case as this one, or bye Offshore Wind ( "Good morning" lands other the sea ). |
