Hi all,
80kg rider wanting to learn some of the more basic freestyle. I currently have a Kode86 & Futura111 but am looking for a more freestyle orientated board to use in moderate winds (15-18 knots). One I can learn a few freestyle tricks on etc. I was thinking one of the larger sized Flares, say the 98L? How would that compare to a Kode in a 94 or 103 litre size? Thanks |

Hi,
I would suggest the Flare 98. As well the 106 woul dbe a good option. What are the sailsizes you are going to use on this board? The Flare 98 plans extremely early and out of my view fits greaet withs izes from 5,2 to 6,0. All the best, Chris

Hi Chris,
Thanks very much for your reply! Yes, exactly in that range, 5.2 and 6 metre sails. Occasionally a 6.5m for more freeride type sailing. Will that work, or am I better off with a larger sized Flare? |

The 98 is fine! You will like the board.
Cheers, Chris
