What are the performance and handling differences between the Carve 121L, vs the Futura 122L...?

Not having used any of these two particular boards, but commenting based on basic design differences. The top speed is probably similar, the Futura is slightly faster across the wind, and better upwind, while the Carve is significantly better in jibes.

However, in general I think that the Carve ought to be the bestseller, providing more everyday fun for the average rider. At the end of the day a fast,blanced and relaxed ride with good turning characteristics is what puts a smile in the face of most riders.

Tried the carve 121l in Tufskin. Absolutely hated it. If you do opt for a carve, do yourself a favor and get it in wood. I'm convinced the Futura would jibe better for anyone who already has a good carving technique on lock.

PS. I ride a Futura 93l in wood which is brilliant, jibes so well.
