A bit late in announcing but in early Oct 2010 a western australian windsurfer, sailing at sandy ponit hit 43kts display on his GPS which is extrememly impressive for a Slalom Board. Admittedly this guy is a big man at over 110kgs, he was using a 6.2m Severne, new Race Slalom sail, and a Chris Lockwood custom fin. Was done at the sandy point speed trials, and posted on gpsteamchallenge.com.au session here: http://gpsteamchallenge.com.au/sailo...-10-07&team=30
