Hi GR 800, Antoine is close to your weight and was using this profil : SL4 for the iSonic 111 and R16 Slalom for the 133. Let me know more about the sail size you will use for recomand fin size. Hope this help All the best |

at my 80 kg I enjoyed the Tomcat 38 in steady wind with '07/'09 111 and the 7,8 or 6,7.When it's gusty or lighter or rough water or figure 8 course I prefer the Tomcat 40.Even tested the Tomcat 42 but it does need of more sail surface to deliver its best. For the new 133 I suggest a carbon 48 or 50 (depends about your weight, skills, etc). |

A lot depends on what you will be doing. Figure 8 slalom = larger fins Downwind slalom = smaller fins Free sailing = ? I have the '08 111 and didn't like the 38 and 44 fins that came with the board. Fast but bad spin out, so I bought a Tetonics Tomcat 42. I mostly free sail and am very happy with the Tomcat for my 6.6, 7.6 & 8.3. NO spinout. I weigh 79 kg. I could use another smaller fin for the 6.6 sail, but haven't invested in one yet. I also use Maui Sails TR-4's I don't know if they have re-designed the Drake fins for the '09 boards or not. Very few reports of anyone liking the Drake fins. At 105 kg, you can use some pretty big fins on the 111 (40 - 48cm). |

| nonopr | This is for slalom. Not for Course Racing, which this boards are not made for. I will only uise the 133 with up to 9.2m but I guess you can go with a 10m sail and use up to a 52cm fin but not for slalom. |

Howcome you use so small fins for iSonics? My old Carve 145 had a fin size equal to the tail width = 52 cm as standard. On my new iSonic 122 (tail width 54 ) a 44 fin is considered quite big. Couldn't the 122 carry a 54 fin and the 111/133 a 50/57 fin for maximum power in marginal conditions with big sails? Maybe it wouldn't give max speed but planing and pointing could be a lot better. 111= I use 38cm with 6.3m, 40cm with 6.6m, 42cm with 7.6m. 133= I use 42cm with 7.6m, 44cm with 8.4, 46cm with 9.2. I aslo use MauiSails. Mast track in both just in the recommended and in ocassions one cm back from recommended. Footstarps in the middle setting outside front and back all the way back. |
