I am thinking of buying a bigger sail than my 9.2 (2 chambers) for my US 147 when I get it..
I see that severne has launched a light weight version of the overdrive; 11.0 LW I once owned a glide 8.5 and that sail really had close to no top end in my opinion. Did not like it. What do you guys think about the overdrive 11 LW.. Is it a good choice for this board or is an ordinary overdrive 11 or reflex 11/12 meter the sail to choose. Maybe Remi or one of the other guys have sailed it and can give a qualified answer? Thanks for any answers! |

Hi Mop,
The Overdrive 11 Light Winds is basically an Overdrive 11 but with a more longer boom to give more power in the lulls for heavy racers in Formula Experience. So if you want really to take a big sail for this board, you can choose th Reflex II 12m, it's working really good but if my memory is correct you are not so heavy to choose so big sail. I am 93 kgs and I enjoy a lot with that board with Overdrive 9.7 and 11. All the best

Hi Remi,
is there a typo in the Overdrive specification for the LW 11? According to the specs the boomlenght of the LW 11 (258 cm) is shorter than than the length of the normal Overdrive 11 (262). Or are the data of the LW 11 and 11mixed? Thanks Christian |
