What type of foot strap screws are used on the 2000 Formula 155?
(I would post a link to the 2000 website, but this is my first post and the site requires 5 posts before including links.) I need to replace them: the phillips heads are worn. Board still going strong! Thanks, Chris |

Hi Chris,
The 2000 F-155 used pretty standard 6mm x 1.0mm x 28 mm PT (Plastics Technology) footstrap screws. Most windsurf shops should still carry some of them. If you cannot find them. let us know here and we may be able to come up with a set of them. There are 2 reasons the Phillips heads could be worn. #1 Some one used a power tool (probably with the wrong size bit) to install them originally. #2 Someone used a damaged, or the wrong size Phillips screwdriver to tighten them. It takes a #3 Phillips high quality heat treated tip screwdriver. Any other tool just tears up the Phillips recess and geometry and makes a mess of the screw heads.
