Hi, Don't know if anyone can help me, but one of my footstraps pulled out of the deck the other day, first time out after I had repositioned them. The plasticky - rubbery lining into which the self tappers go had failed, and some of it was stuck on the screw. I got hold of a thicker screw, but there was nothing for that to grip onto.
The question is, is there anything available to renew this lining... Ola over on the Boards forum suggested a possible liquid fix...? Thanks in advance. |

Hi Clewless,
Try the recommended "remedy" for this. http://www.star-board.com/viewpage.php?page_id=21 "Repair of damaged footstrap screw thread or vent screw threads." I've done this repair many times and it's a permanent fix. Hope this helps, |
