Hi to everybody, my present to my wife (and me!) is a new Kombat 114 that we have tested this weekend on Garda Lake. We like it but its fin Freeride Flow 340 (tuttle box) seems to be too big for our use: we will use this board as a freestyle/wave (me) freeride(my wife) board with sails range 5,0 to 5,8 . I have choosen 114 for two reasons : my wife is learning now power jibe and she need some volume but she is light (54 Kg) and she enjoy with sail not larger than 5,8 . I'm starting now trying to learn basic freestyle tricks and jump (vulkan) and little volume is a help for me (77Kg) too when the wind goes down . Which fin type and size (tuttle box)) do you suggest us ?
thanks a lot Aloha Last edited by pietrosurf; 24th September 2007 at 02:29 PM. Reason: fin type/size suggetion |

Hi Pietro,
Considering the sail sizes you and you wife are using, a 30cm fin could do the trick, 28cm would really be the smallest you'd use unless you are very good freestyler (they use very, very small fins). As for the type of fin, ideally I'd suggest staying with a maneuverable, freeride fin. Cheers, Tiesda |
