just wondering if these boards can be set up single rear strap without having to put one foot strap screw through the tuttle screw.

I don't have a K114, but have an Aero 117. I highly doubt it, but you'll be OK with it as a wave board. I use mine as a light wind wave board, put the straps right next to each other (actually touching) and loosen them until my foot goes all the way through. Works fine that way.
Can't vouch for the K114, but I love my Aero. |

If the big Kombat has an inner strap position so that the straps virtually touch each other then you can mount a single backstrap assymetrically over the centerline. For example the right front screw hole, and the left back screw hole.
It will look strange, and will cause some smiles on the beach, but it actually works VERY well :-) |
