Anyone know what UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) it is on the Starboard lycras ?

Hi Joy,
I'm not sure the lyrca material is supplied with a specified UPF rating, however most commercial Lycra grades run a minimum of 30+ and many in the 50+ range when new.. Our practical (empirical) experience is even on the longest days they offer minimal (as in like no) tan thru ability even with daily exposure, considerably less than the 30 or 50+ extreme sunblocks applied to adjacent arms, necks etc. Cheers ~ Ian |
