The new futura looks great , my question is at this time i one a carve 162 d-ram 2006, Sails that i drive a overdrive r2 10.0 and a 8.5..(my weight 100kg)
When i change to the futura 155, will plane then a little bit earlier, and is the futura 155 faster than the carve 162.. And what is the biggest fin i can use on the futura on the carve i use a 59cm select superfast when i use the 10.0 sail. Can i use on the futura a starboard r13 64cm fin in very light winds(i have this fin), What is the difference between these to Boards.... Mike |

mike,
the futura will plane faster and go faster than the carve 162. The boys have been working hard on the futura's and they are right where they want to be with them. Test one out and see for yourself. You will love it.

Hi Kevin:
I posted you one question about the futura...My weight is 75 kgs...I left Formula and I am looking for a board to start planing from 10 knots with 9 m sails to 16 knots.. What do you think about Futura 133? Thank you in advance |

Hyper,
I would go with the Isonic. If you have been riding the formula you will love the Isonic speed and fun and early plaining.
