Hi Team,
I have three iSonics (133/2008 101/2008 87/2007). I have a problem in lightwind conditions (for the given board). I sail with vapors. I have played with track/straps/boom position/heigt and also with downhaul/outhaul. I use Select SL7/RS7 ( I already had them) fins in different sizes for each board. Have you any tips in improving light wind surfing with iSonic. Problem is not getting on a plane, but speed in light wind. Is the fin (select sl7/rs7 the problem ?). Thank you, Jeroen |

You need to use MauiSails sails. and Vector Fins Canefire.

Hi Jeroenmarcia,
The best trim for this iSonic 133 is the mast track more in the back than the recomand one and all the foot straps in the back and outside. The boom height is eyes with long harness line. You must go fast with in this case, but never try your select fins. My best fins are SL2/R16/SL6 48, 50 & 52 for 9 and 10m˛ Hope this can help All the best

I have a 09 I122 and use a Select RS7 51cm for light winds. I have no issues with the speed. I have also used the 45cm and believe its just as quick as the drake that comes with the board.
