sail quiver for kombat 106 and carve 133

I've the kombat 106 and the carve 133, a 5.3, a 6.0 and a 7.5. my weight is 80kg, and I would chang my 7.5 and add a bigger sail (8.5). Any suggestion for the best quiver sail (4 sails max) considering that in the future I could keep conly the kombat?

It is impossible to give any sail recommendations if you don't reveal what masts you have, and if you are going to get new masts (and in that case, what lengths).

It also makes sense to know what sails the smaller ones are, the 5.3 and 6.0 you are going to keep.

The mast is not an issue, I mean if necessary I change it.

I would keep the 5.3 and the 6.0 for at least one year

Your existing sails/ boards are a pretty good mix. You could get more light wind range out of your Carve 133 with a bigger sail & fin. What are you trying to accomplish? For example, do you need a more lighter wind sail? or are your sails old & you're updating?

With regards to spacing I think that if you go for a bigger sail, like a 8.5, then you could switch the 7.5 for a slightly smaller sail. A 7.0 would work well as the biggest sail on the Kombat, and be a lot easier to handle than a 7.5.

A quiver of 5.3 - 6.0 - 7.0 - 8.5 makes sense to me. It makes sense to increase the spacing when you go to bigger sizes.

Looking at Severne sails a Gator 7.0 combined with an 8.5 Element, or a 7.5 Glide (that rigs on a 460 mast) would make sense.

With Gaastra a Remedy 6.9 and a 8.5 m2 bigger sail (or the 7.5 m2 Plasma on a 460 mast) would be feasible.

Two Sailworks Retro 7.0 and 8.5 would server you well, or with Simmer X-Type/V-Type in 6.9 m2 and a 2-XC in 8.5. Or one Simmer X-Type 6.9 and one Sailworks Retro 8.5 as they rig on the same mast bend curve (and Severne rigs on the same SDM masts as well).

I think it is a mast question more than anything else. What masts do you have? Do you want to continue to use your old masts? Do you want to omit a 490 mast?

I'm looking for planing with light wind and replacing my old 7.5. My mast is 460 90% carbon, and if it is relevant the wind knodes gain between 8.0 (ok for 460 mast) and 8.5 I'd buy also a 490 mast

It does not really matter at all for sail selection if the mast is 90% or 50% carbon. The important thing is what bend curve it has (i.e. not the stiffness), and that often can be deduced from what brand it is (and if it is a SDM or RDM).
