Hi,
I currently have a 2004 Go 165 and I now have the oppurtunity to buy a mates 2008 Go 144. I would rate myself as an early intermediate (using harness, getting used to footstraps and uphauling) and I weigh 105 Kgs. I usually sail in 10 -20 kts on coastal lake (salt water). I would really like to purchase his board but I am worried it is too small for me. Thanks Dash |

it is big enough for your 105kg. Go for it...what can happen is that uphauling the sail will be a tiny bit more difficult for you...but you will learn how to adapt your self quickly and will have fun again...bigger fun than before!
Ciao M. |

Thanks Mim,
I was worried that I would have trouble uphauling the 144 and would sink in non planning winds. I can't wait to get it to the water. Dash Last edited by dash; 13th February 2009 at 01:17 PM. |

do not worry, you will not sink...I have 95kg and I can easily uphaul my Aero 117 liters.
With 144 you will still be very comfortable! Have fun, ciao Michal. |
