RS racing masts
Hi, anyone got any experience with the RS slalom and in particular masts? I know that the X6 and X9 are recomended but for instance would a X7 work? Bought a 10m RS slalom with correct mast and it dosent feel nor look right atol.
PS have the RS racing in smaller sizes and get away with decent ordinary masts and they feel much nicer. Help appreciated Thanks M IR 20 |

NP mast .
Don't even think about the NP mast , they are very very fragile

Two masts less expensive, lighter and stronger ( with same performances )

x7 masts
I have the 8.4 and 9.2 RSS sails in the first version . I do have the specified x6 mast but also use an older x7 490 mast with equal or better results. It is much lighter and you may even find a used or old stock sample for a reasonable price.Good luck.
