The description of the 145 seems to emphasize light wind performance with great up & down wind ability. On the otherhand the 133 is grouped with board with a more slalom emphasis.
How does the 133 compare to the 145 with upwind/downwind capabilty? How does the iSonic 133 compare on upwind/downwind/light wind performance of say the Carve 133 or 144? |

Hi Mike,
The iSonic 145 is base on a Formula shape who everyting is more snooth compare to a pur Formula. Yes this board can beat the iSonic 133 in light with minimum 10m. Nothing to compare the iSonic 133 and the Carve 133 or 144, the Isonic is much more beter in this case. All the best

I have an Isonic 133, and can honestly tell you that - unless you really want to sail with big sails (9+ meter) in very light winds - you really don't need a bigger one.
I love the Is 133. For a slalom board it is still relatively intuitive to sail, not too hard to tune and it is ridiculously fast Get one! |
