Is severne renegade sail suitable for freestyle and freeride?

hi, everybody!
i have an enquiry about sail/board compatability..

is severne renegade 5.3 suitable with flare 111 for freestyle and freeride?
its just coz i like its color and its durability,
althugh i know its a wave sail and my area is not perfect for wave sailing..
i already have another 2 cam 6.5m sail for lighter winds.

Hi uaehorse,

Renegade will make an OK Freeride/freestyle sail esp in the 5.3 range.
It's the softest and most forgiving wavesail in the range, not quite the same super high clew/boom as the dedicated Freek - but if you need to see if it can be tweeked rather than freeked check out Boujmaa's "style" on it.

Plenty of low end power and acceleration plus bomb proof construction make it a pretty useful option for powered freeride or freestyle.

Plus the color looks good !
