Flare's v.s freesex..vote

I would like to know which boards do you guys like the best..?

I'll start of with voting for the Flare. I just love how it "glides" through the water in general sailing in a much more free way than the Freesex. I kind of suck at freestyle, but for the few moves I do try, the Flare seems at least as good and kind of slides in a nicer way.

i would say the " Flare ".
i just got my Flare 111 delivered to me in dubai today .
Fantastic look!! realy non-conservative sexy board.. B)
it was a love from the first sight..!
unfortunatly, till now i didnt tryed it, and when i listten to my heart, i hear FlaRe.. FlAre.. FLaRe...

I think both boards are pretty good but they are very different.


I think the flare 99(2007)feels like a freerider with a bit of a freestyle touch. It feels way shorter than it extually is and thanks to de heelchutters it cranks upwind I like that because you can do more moves. but it doesn't lie as loose on the water as I want it to (the ahd fs feeling is great if you know what I mean). It's a great board for people who want to do freestyle but also look for a confortable ride.

the freesex (2005) This is more a real freestyleboard but it doesn't cruise like the flare

I like the freesex better because I don't want to cruis a lot.

I do understand what you are teling saying.

When I sailed the freesex myself I felt like the board needed more speed even though it was a great hi wind freestyle boards but it wasn't working the way I wanted it to be, so that's why we changed to a much more kinda speedy but still freestyle board..
