How much does a Gemini weigh? That is not shown under the "Product" menu.
The 29 kt speed by riders who were not experienced on tandems is really interesting. A heavyweight rider appears to have an advantage in getting top speeds on speed needles. Could two riders on a wide tandem be faster? Could a wide tandem make it easier for average riders to get high speeds? |

Hi Del,
I just got the official production average weight through from the factory and it's 22.83 kg. I'll get the web page updated too. Tiesda |

Thank you, Tiesda. That is less weight than most tandam kayaks and some solo kayaks. And less than some late 70's and early 80's sailboards (such as the Magnum 370 I once had).

Wow. That puts Roger and my 'record' of 24.7mph in the dumpster! (We were on 4.8 Huckers.)
