Fact: 162 sticks to the water, very fin sensitive, could be a pig downwind

So, what if I bought ( I have) a 162 as better board than a 160 or 161 and I'm stuck right now with it, do I supose to buy a HWR as an evo of the 161????
Or wait 2 years to the next 163 and maybe that is an evolution of the 162? |

Hi Unregistered,
Some people like the 162 and have good results with it but other didn't like it. The reason why we propose 2 boards this year to make everybodies happy depend of their style and weight. In our R&D program we develop our 2 2010 Formula from 160, 161 & 162 and chose the best 2 At final we get 2 very good board who are better than all the previous one. Now it's just depending of your weight and the wind you have most of the time to choose your board. Hope this help All the best

Hi Unregistered,
This board was more orientate light winds conditions, but as I said you some love it and also the contrary. The style of riding this board is different to F 160 and F 161, so we go this year more in the style of 160 and 161 but event more free and less physical. Result the new boards are less sensitive for the fins choice compare to F 162 and more efficient. Seems that you are heavy, so the HWR (Heavy Weight Racers) will be the one for you. All the best
