Just sailed the Quad 66 with original fin setup. The 16cm front fins are very noise, especially upwind. The 15cm are well. What to do to 'kill' the noise? Don't like singing fins...
Found this old thread http://www.star-board.com/forum/show...hlight=whistle but it didn't helped (maybe I did it wrong?). Any other ideas? Cheers |

it worked for me with my Select fin the idea is file/sand only one side of the TE back edge of the fin it is like whistling - one side off and no sound :-) good luck |

Hm, not anything I've experienced. Can it be the fit in the box that is not perfect? Try with some narrow shim and see it if helps.
