Futura 93 with reflex 7.0

Hi, I want to buy a Futura 93 for mid/high- wind speedsurfing. Say about 18-35 Kts. I surf on flat and shallow waters, sometimes with small chop, but no reall chalenging conditions while you can stay almost every where. My weight is 95 kg and I am a recreational surfer.

My question: Is the Futura still surfable in a good trim with the 7.0 under solid wind 18-25 Kts conditions, or is the 93 too small for the 7.0 to get optimal trim? Important, I will also use the 6.2 reflex with this board and I am covered well for calmer conditions.

According to Christine in the French Forum, the 93l works great with a 7.0m North Warp. I don't see why a Reflex would be any different, especially in speedsailing conditions where the chop isn't brutal.

Hi Hans,
it´s working fine. I often used a 7,5 on the 93, but like the board a lot with Mojo 6,7. The 93 has abig windrange, is extremely easy to control in overpower and very easy to jibe.

You will have fun with 7,0 and 6,2 on the 93.

Thanks for your answer! I hope I can test the futura 122 this Monday (no 93 available) to get some feeling on the water. I have surfed with slalomboards for the the pas 5 years, but as commited recreant maybe a futura will suit me better than a isonic or falcon. I like to go fast, but maybe forgot to much about just having fun on the water and make some jibes.
