What is you skill level, what are your typical sailing conditions, and what sails do you have? What board(s) have you been sailing?

Hi Unregistered,
The best sail on the iSonic 117 Wide is exactly 8.6 and this board is design for medium weight, so it will be perfect for you body size. I recommand you the Deboichet R16 46 with it to get the best performances. I consider the iSonic 121 or 117 like medium board for very heavy racer compare to the 117 Wide All the best

Just out of curiosity, I sail similar conditions to the above poster, often super light winds, 10mph, and use an Ezzy 8.5 Infinity, but I weigh 123lbs. Would the 117 work well for me under those conditions?
Thanks |

Hi Unregistered,
Of course it will works and better than the previous board, just said that the best one is the 117 Wide with this size. Have fun on 117 or 117 Wide, you will be very happy any way. All the best Rémi
