Default Which Futura size

Hi everyone,
which size of Futura would suite me best?

weight: 60 kg
level: harness and footstraps ok, but not very stylish style, GO (160 l?) planes quite nicely, beach start yes, water start no, hoping to learn that during next year
conditions: inland lake (mainly) wind 8-18 knots
sails: no-cam 6.5, 8.0 (mainly used)

Would Futura 133 suite me best? Or could I go for smaller one?

Thanks a lot for your opinions, looking forward to hear them!

With your weight and skills I would consider the 122. Plenty of floatability and better performance and control with increasing winds. Especially the 6.5 will suit much better.

If early paning is your first priority and you do not use smaller sails than 6.5 I think 133 might be the one for you. This is a light-wind-board and spot on if you want top perfomance in light winds and still can go out in a little more wind.
Apparently the 122 will be more lively and a board to grow with so I`d say if you are a young guy this is the board for you.
If you, however are a veteran looking for a board to cruise around with in nice warm summerdays and not in need for a thrill, - 133!
Earlier planing, better pointing against the wind and better subplaning. (You can go everywhere on the lake)
- just my two cents

You have a light wind board with the GO, so I would suggest the 122. The 133 is too close to the Go and I think you will be much happier with the smaller, more performance oriented board like the 122. It should be easy to uphaul while you learn to water start. For someone your size, the 122 will be a BIG board for winds over 18 knots and you will likely want something smaller down the road as you keep progressing.

I would say the 122 also, but since you stated 8-18 knots on an inland lake then the 133 would be a better option if you sell the Go. If you keep the Go, then get the 122.
