hello
I'm planning to buy a new board. It schould be used on the northsea and flatwater for jumping, some freestylemoves and blasting. wind is mostly 3-4 bft I'm 178cm small and 75kg big I was thinking about the s-type 103. Is this a good choise for the things I want to do? Other board I was thinking about was the exocet cross II for what is the s-type mostly used? I'm used to surf a fast agile board like the copello red line but I want the board to be airborne more easy. thanks for the help!! B) |

the s-type 115 is a good option, though the s-types are build for speed and not so much for freestyle even though they are quite agile. Another option can be the carve 111, simular sailrange, a bit bigger actually i think, and more freecarve-freeride minded, a good thing if you're going to the northsea.
Are u a Dutch or belgian surfer? Cuz then you can specify your location spots, i know a couple ones in the Netherlands and Belgium as i surf there aswell ... It might help with the boardchoice. grtz

ST is fast but slightly technical when you want to get everything out of it. I think you would want to go one size up -> ST 115 ST is good in flat and chop and really nice in waves too (better than the KA if you ask me). 06 PWA SuperX World Championship read what sb writes about the ST it just about nails it. |
