Hi Kevin,
well following your recommendations in another thread I got myself a Stype Technora 115, I'm stoked ! Again I'm 70 kgs, board to be used with 7.5 and 6.5 freerace sails (Pryde V6 and V8). What type of performance fin should I put to get the most of my board, performance wise, in Long distance type racing ? The 38cm that come with the board seems a bit big for maximum speed to me. Does the Stype works with performance oriented fins like a Deboichet SL2 ? |

...and what do you think of the new SL3 on an Stype 115 ?
good choice to make the most of the board in Long distance racing, or overkill ? thanks |

I used the Sl 2 in the board last year and it worked pretty good. I think it is a bit much of an upgrade but if you are going to go compete in the Defi you might want something like the Sl2 or 3 if you can get your hands on some of those.
Hoep this helps.

Hi Kevin, congrats for your last results in PWA!
Back to S-type, I've been offered a Deboichet SL1 32 fin for my ST93 '06.. Which kind of fin is this? Would it work? According Tectonics, you suggested a Tomohawk but it's hard to find it here.. I found some Goldwings and Falcon, again I know nothing about that!!! Do you? Thanks |

SL1
![]() SL2 ![]() The SL1 has more area in the tip compared to the SL2. I would assume this means it has more low-end grunt???

Do you have some tips for me Kevin, it's about my previous topic..
Here I hardly found any deboichet or tectonics fins (that seams to be the best ones): I'd like to buy one in 32 for my ST93 2006 to go with a 6.0 or 6.6 sail. Tectonics Goldwing, Falcon? Deboichet SL2, SL1? Which one is the way to go? |

Thank you for the reply Kevin, I'll try to get one in 32 (or 34.. boh! I dunno which would be better..)
P.S. I saw the video in Canaries on your blog: great conditions and great moves! It always seams so "easy" when you watch at you jumping, and moving and.. Grr.. ![]() Good luck for the races! |
